MEET THE BAND
MIRA CLAPS – VOCALS AND KEYS
Born and raised in southern Indiana, Mira Claps inherited her love for music from her family’s rich musical heritage. She learned to play piano and sing at a young age, eventually becoming the primary piano player for family gatherings and church events. Mira’s passion for singing and creating harmonies led her to the Seattle music scene, where she met her husband Tom and collaborated with Dmitry Kraskovsky in various bands before forming After 4 Band.
DMITRY KRASKOVSKY – GUITAR
Hailing from Siberia, Dmitry Kraskovsky’s musical journey began with the acoustic guitar at the age of 7. Self-taught on the guitar, Dmitry’s love for music led him to explore the electric guitar at 16. After playing in multiple bands and joining Road Trips NW, Dmitry’s path crossed with Mira and Tom, culminating in joining After 4 Band where his guitar work shines alongside his bandmates.
TOM CLAPS – BASS
Originally from New York, Tom Claps discovered his musical talents on the drums in 7th grade before transitioning to bass later in life. With a background in drumming for various Seattle and Wichita bands, Tom’s passion for music led him to collaborate with Mira and eventually form After 4 Band. His switch to bass added a dynamic layer to the band’s sound, complementing the group’s evolving musical style.
BILL RAY – DRUMS
Bill Ray, a renowned American drummer, honed his craft from a young age, captivated by the rhythmic allure of drums. With a career spanning decades, Bill’s versatility and technical prowess have earned him a stellar reputation in the music industry. From touring with legendary artists like Ike Turner to collaborating with guitar virtuosos like Paul Gilbert, Bill’s drumming expertise shines through in After 4 Band, providing a solid foundation for their eclectic sound.
